RADIESSE 0.8ML

What is Radiesse® 0.8ml?

Radiesse 0.8ml is a dermal filler gel consisting of calcium hydroxylapatite particles that, when implanted into skin, has the dual action of correcting deep wrinkles and folds like nasolabial folds, while encouraging the skin to produce collagen. By encouraging the natural production of collagen, it helps to extend the results for a longer period of time. Radiesse 0.8ml is indicated for moderate wrinkles. For patients looking to correct deep skin depressions, you can offer Radiesse 1.5ml.

Description

What Radiesse 0.8ml is formulated to do

Over time, the skin of the face tends to lose its youthful appearance, with the onset of wrinkles and facial volume loss. This can be mainly attributed to a loss of dermal tissue caused by thinning of the dermis. Radiesse 3ml counteracts these visible signs of facial aging by filling the skin to visibly correct deep cutaneous depressions and restore lost volume to facial features.

Radiesse 3ml is made of a biocompatible, non-toxic material called calcium hydroxylapatite. In this skin filler, calcium hydroxylapatite is synthetically manufactured and formed into microspheres that are suspended in a gel carrier. When deposited into the skin through subdermal injection, this skin filler immediately corrects the wrinkle or defect and acts to initiate neocollagenesis at the treatment site. As a result, the implant is gradually replaced by the body’s own natural collagen, further extending the result.
